Return of the Missionary

My mom got a special mother's day gift this year as my little brother, Kevin, returned home from serving a mission in Africa. We joined his little welcoming party late Sunday night at the airport and posed for a quick family picture. We're glad to have him back and wondering when he'll snap out of his french speaking, dreaming of eating Aramdillo tail, and thinking that 85 degrees is just too cold stage.

I'll spare you the pictures this time, but the water's broken and the contractions hurt... Hopefully things will start picking up now.

Come Out Come Out Whereever You Are

So it's now 2:40 pm and we really haven't seen much action. Bri is still having regular contractions every 2-3 minutes but they don't really seem to be bothering her. We spend our time watching random shows online and tossing a nerf football back and forth that we bought as a "new sister" present for Trenton. The doc is supposed to show up sometime (really specific time frame) and break her water to help get things moving. Anyone in the mood for another episode of "Ugly Betty"?

The Waiting Game

Well we're not sure why we got up at the buttcrack of dawn (no pun intended... well maybe a little) to get to the hospital by 5 am. Bri didn't get the inducing stuff until 8 am but now she's having pretty regular contractions so I guess we're up and running and just playing the waiting game.

Big Mama

Here is the long awaited pregnancy photo. Sadly this is really the only one we have so I am forced to post it eventhough I am not so much of a fan.

As of late, Dave likes to refer to me as "large and in charge" for obvious reasons. This picture was actually taken about three weeks ago, but luckily my size hasn't changed too much since then. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little girl sometime this week!
