We're headed to Kentucky!

Dave decided that he likes checking the box labeled "student" when asked to identify his profession . . . in order to try and do this for a few more years he applied to orthodontic residency. Well, many years of hard work at school paid off and and matched at his #1 choice- the University of Louisville. So, we'll be packing up this summer and heading to Kentucky for another 2 years of school. Although sad to leave friends and family here in Portland, we are very happy that he will be able to pursue the career of his choice and even happier that we're getting closer to him being done with school!

Gefeliciteerd and thanks for posting the map so the geographically challenged (like me) know where the heck Louisville is.

Blast. . .I was hoping one year I would get my act together and we would come visit you in Oregon since Chad has some family up there we could see too. Now it looks like I am too late and Kentucky is further away. It would be nice if Charles and I could just visit before you leave but that depends on a lot of things. Chad is out because he is getting ready for the bar exam this summer.

Since your not coming to live by me, I don't really care where you go! Okay, I still like you. Anyway, good thing you're cute, skinny, and funny, it should help you make some new friends.

Fun fun! We should meet in West Virgina or something. Let us know if you need a place to stay if you come check out DC :)

I didn't realize that Kentucky and Virginia are neighboring states . . . I checked and we'll only be 8.5 hrs from each other- that's not too far :)

Wow, congrats on getting your #1 pick! I've been to Louisville a few times and have enjoyed it. You'll have to check out the Louisville slugger museum/factory, they have this little tour where they give out miniature wooden bats at the end. Calvin loved it.

Hey Bri! My cousin and his wife are in dental school in Louisville - they've got three kids around the same ages as yours... Michael and Brinn King. If you need some inside info about the area, I'm sure Brinn would be more than happy to fill you in! Congrats! That's so exciting!
